My thoughts of Art go back to the 1970's &80's when " our crowd " as Betty Bellows used to say, would gather for snacks , beverages and laughs . Art , as was his nature , was a large part of these gatherings and could easily have been called the "Life of the Party " . He loved and respected people and truly one of the best people that I ever met .
As you know , if I had said that to face , he would have made a humble joke about it , but I often regret , even so , that I never did .My thoughts go out to you all now and I expect that Frank, Melba and Art are enjoying each other again......Besty to you all.
