Only knowing Elton through our CDA connection confirms what everyone else has said about him.
He was concerned with the needs of others and was very happy to share the joy that family brings.
He was a true warrior in his fight against a cruel disease. Quiet strength in the light of pain and suffering. You wouldn't have known he was ill by his wonderful concern for others.

A very sweet person - I knew him while working at IBM, also as a programmer. I ran into him a few times after he retired and enjoyed catching up. Condolence: My heart is broken for the passing of Elton. I worked with Elton for many years, and even though he was only 15 yrs older, I looked to him as a father figure (having lost my Dad at a young age). He meant a lot to me.
