Condolence: Dear family and friends of Tom: We were so sorry to learn of Tom's untimely death and now we are distressed to find that we will be unable to attend either memorial service. On Mt.Philo we would want to say how privileged we feel to have known Tom and to have counted him among our friends. We met him when we moved to Middlebury in 2007 and hired him to undertake some major carpentry and painting jobs in the home we were renting. He continued in this role of handyperson right up until this year and soon became a friend. He helped us move our household twice, carefully and efficiently. We soon found that we shared many interests and opinions on matters political, economic and cultural. Our conversations were often lengthy and ranged widely. Tom was knowledgeable on numerous subjects. He was extremely well read.He was kindly, proud, independent, a very special person. It was always a pleasure to engage with him. He was unfailingly helpful to us in many ways. We miss him. We send our condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. Holly & Bob

Condolence: To all the Angiers... I am so sorry for the loss of Tommy. Our families were together at Ft. Benning, Georgia and I have fond memories of visiting the farm in Addison as a child. My heart goes out to you all but, especially to John. To lose a child, at any age is heart breaking. May your memories sustain you. With love and prayers, Jean

Condolence: Tom was one of my 1st friends I met when I 1ST moved to Vergennes. He had been living in Florida and I in Milton, VT. I remember as freshman playing JV soccer and the starting our own track team with 5 members to compete as a non sponsored school for Vergennes and coming in 3rd as a team with only 5 members with Tom and I both medaling in multiple events. As years past we moved on with our lives but still seeing each other even when he moved to Colorado and I to Idaho. I had not seen him in about 10 years when he was last back at the ski area in VT. This was a big shock to me as I am sure it was to his family and loved ones. I can only hope he went peacefully and without pain. Tom beat to his own drum and was a free spirit and I pray he takes that into his next journey and passes that along to the many souls he meets. Tom you were one of my best friends over the years and you will be missed. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
