Robert S. “Bob” Kimball

Robert Stanley “Bob” Kimball, 57, passed away on Sunday July 19, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. He was born on January 10, 1958 in West Lebanon, NH son of the late George W. and Beatrice (Ruel) Kimball. Bob was a very venturous man. He enjoyed all aspects of life by hunting, fishing, bon fires and loved the outdoors. His favorite was helping his son with sugaring with the Phillips family. He always loved to give a helping hand to everyone even if not asked. Bob was employed through ECI Construction and loved working with all of his co-workers. He always loved to tinker on everything. He had so many great traits. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin and was a great friend to all that knew him. Bob will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years Patti Kimball of Fairfax, his son Josh Powers of Fairfax, 3 daughters Shawntae Parchment and Kyle Huante of Colchester, Billey Jo Kimball of Barre, Brenda Laberge and husband Carl of Burlington, 3 brothers Richard Kimball and wife Sue, George Kimball and wife Sharon, Francis Kimball and wife Ann, 4 sisters Dotty Kimball, Lucy Kimball, Pat Kimball, Carol Kimball, 3 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and his favorite “pest” and faithful companion his dog Burkley.

He was also predeceased by his brothers Albert Kimball, Ernie Kimball and sister Nancy Frost.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday July 23, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St. Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 24, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at United Church of Fairfax with Reverend Katherine Arthaud officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in Fairfax Plains Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495.
