Marguerite “Betsy” Kiernan, daughter of the late Hal and (Marion) Brower West and widow of Barney Kiernan to whom she was married for 55 years passed away on January 13, 2016 at Vermont Respite House in Williston. Betsy was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on June 6, 1933.

Betsy is survived by her daughter, Kathleen, her beloved grandson Joshua and his wife, Prudence McCann Krasofski and their daughter, her great granddaughter Kiernan. They were precious blessings to her and she loved them dearly.

Betsy is also survived by many friends including her beloved friends: Joanie Casey, Scott, Lisa and Michelle Gagnon, Ellen, Karen, Brian and Kevin Rapalje, Nancy McDonald and family, Beverly Shaw, Sue Paris, Betsey Wyeth and Marcus Taber.
