Larry Dean Rash
Larry Dean Rash, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, 58 of Westmore lost his battle with cancer and died peacefully at home on August 20th, 2016 with his wife Debra by his side. He was born February 28, 1958 to Morris and Janice (Eastman) Rash in Springfield, VT.
In 1987 he met his soulmate, wife and best friend Debra A Rash. They were united in marriage August 11, 1990 with family, friends and their children by their side in Westmore, VT.
Larry is survived by his wife Debra A Rash of Westmore, his 3 children... Crystall J Labounty 37 of Bolton, VT, Jennifer J Rash 36 of Burlington, VT and Joseph E Shaw III 34 of Watervliet, NY. His 4 grandchildren; Alex Crown 17, Codee Crown 14, Alyssa Crown 12, and McKensie Patrick 9.
Larry is also survived by his 4 sisters and 1 brother; Kathy Dyke of Maine, Deborah March of VT, Valerie Perkins and her husband Ronald of VT, Terri Goss and her husband George of NY, and Andrew Rash and his wife Lara Keenan of Vt.
He was known to many for his hard work ethic, gentle soul and beautiful singing voice!.
He enjoyed spending time with family, singing karaoke both in his backyard with family and out in public. He also enjoyed playing kornhole, horseshoes and fishing on Willoughby Lake both summer and winter.
His family will be spreading ashes in a private ceremony in September.
There will be a Celebration of Life October 1st, 2016 from 1pm to 5pm at his home on Westside Lane in Westmore. Please bring a dish to share while we listen to his favorite songs and share memories of this Amazing Man!
