Patricia Phyllis Allard (Brown)
St. Albans; PATRICIA P. ALLARD 95, passed away on September 18, 2016 at St Albans Health and Rehab Center in St. Albans. Patricia was born on March 6th, 1921 in South Burlington the daughter of Howard and Martha (Tanner) Brown. She was a graduate of Mount St Mary Academy in Burlington, Vt. and Champlain College Secretarial program. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Allard, in 1958. She is also pre-deceased by her parents, her daughter Sally Allard Skudera, by her brothers and sisters, Molly, Martha, Catherine, Tessie, Anne, Tom, and Howard (Buddy) Brown. Survivors include her daughter Cindy Coon and her husband John of Swanton and their children Jeffery and Julie, her son Daniel Allard and his wife Christine of Colchester, her granddaughter Jennifer Allard Zilinski and her husband Daniel of Plymouth, MA. and her beloved great grandchildren James and Emma Zilinski and her sister Betty.
Patricia spent most of her career working as the administrative assistant to the Academic Dean at St. Michaels College. She retired from there after 25 successful years. Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She was loved deeply by all those who knew her.
Patricia’s family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff at St. Albans Health and Rehab Center for the compassion and care they have given Patricia in her final days.
Final arrangements are being handled by A.W Rich Funeral Home in Fairfax, Vt. Per Patricia’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family invites you to share your memories and condolences by visiting www.awrfh.com. Interment will be in the New Mt Calvary Cemetery in Burlington, Vt. A private service will be held at a later date.
