I am still trying to deal with Big Bad Bob passing. When I met him in 1988 that is how his name was referred to me. When I first met him he was intimidating and to some degree remained that way. However I still remember the first time he opened up his house to me. I was given a key to his home. To feel trusted was incredible. We would golf, shop and he would always put me in my place there was no hiding things from him. When I was heading back to Boston he packed me a sandwich. Big bad bob sending me home with food. He had a soft side that I will never forget. My son took his first steps in the ocean when he would take Nicholas and Chris to Maine. Thank you god for putting Bob in my life. The best part was I would be walking to Champlain college and he would say you are right where your supposed to be. That drove me nuts but all these years later I was right where I was supposed to be. Chris you know how much i cared for your Dad. Hang in there.
