Obituary for Lawrence W. Chicoine

Lawrence W. Chicoine passed away at his home with his wife by his side on August 13, 2021. He was born April 29, 1950 in Burlington to the late Lucile (Roberge) and William A. Chicoine. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Army for 2 years (1970 – 1972) in Germany driving tanks. He met Mary (Baillargeon) Chicoine soon after his return and was married in 1974 for 47 years.

Larry had a passion with carpentry, cabinet making, furniture making, having started work early on with his father and then several other employers and even started his own business and finally worked for Farrington Construction of Shelburne. He loved gardening, hunting, beekeeping, camping, raising sheep, candle making and loved watching western tv shows/movies. Loved joking around.

He leaves his loving wife Mary (Baillargeon) Chicoine; daughter Michele (Chicoine) Pecor and her spouse Shawn Pecor and grandson James, his sisters Gisele (Chicoine) Wurzburger and spouse Dan Wurzburger, Maureen Chicoine, three grandchildren, Katie Chicoine, Lukas Chicoine, James Pecor, Aunt and Uncle Norman and Lisette Roberge, many nieces, nephews and his two dogs Truffles and Lily.

He was also predeceased by his sister, Betty Cushing, brothers, Markie Chicoine, Jimmy Chicoine sons, Andrew Chicoine, Scott Chicoine, Grandson, Carter Chicoine and a special friend Alan Cousino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St Mary’s Church, Main Street, Cambridge at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 20, 2021. Visiting hours and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to PSI (Patient Services Inc), P.O.
