Obituary for Joyce Elizabeth "Joyce Elizabeth Esposito" Esposito

Joyce Elizabeth Esposito, daughter of Peter Esposito and Mildred Gertrude Bessette, passed away August 14, 2021 with her family by her side. Joyce was born in Smithfield, Rhode Island and spent the last ±46 years in Fairfax, Vermont where she raised her two daughters, Melinda Domina and Amanda Brouillard. She also had the joy of a granddaughter, Alyssa Holt, and her husband Brandon Holt, and a grandson, Charles Abell. Joyce spent ±20 years as a switchboard operator as Smugglers Notch Resort.

She was an incredibly special person to anyone the lucky enough to have known her. She was a loving and giving person who always had a twinkle in her eye and a warm smile, and a very strong faith. Some of her favorite activities were fishing with her grandson, attending his baseball games, and watching her granddaughter sing in choirs. She was a thoughtful person who always enjoyed quiet moments of appreciation of the beauty in the world all around her. Joyce would do anything for anyone and was always looking to help those in need. In the days before her departure, she had volunteered at Northwest Medical Center but unfortunately never got the chance to start. She will be forever loved and missed more deeply than could be imagined by all who's lives she touched and we know she will awe all the angles in heaven who are lucky enough to see her smile and hear her sweet voice sing.

She was predeceased by her sister Janet Bovat and brother Peter Esposito and also leaves behind son in law Justin Brouillard, nieces Michelle Bovat Harnish, Angela Clapper and Ashley Verge, and her cousin and very close friend whom she spoke with everyday, Donna Esposito. A very special thank you to Justin Brouillard and Eileen Kirshenbaum for their love and support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Milton. Inurnment will follow in the family lot in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Please visit awrfh.com to share your memories and condolences.
