How grateful you all are that she was a part of your lives. She was so supportive, loving and proud of you. Not everyone is that fortunate.

Condolence: On behalf of the Mitiguys: our heartfelt condolences to you, Norm, and all the Macleods. I was privileged to meet you and Marge with Mom once after I moved back east, Norm. Mom's now in a local nursing home with dementia or she'd be sending this message herself. Our parents and us kids "grew" up with the Amherst Macleods. They're part of our lives forever, so you, Norm, and they, are especially in our thoughts now.

Condolence: To Mr. Faunce, Betsy, Nancy and families...I was visiting Mom in VT this past weekend when I learned of Mrs. Faunce's passing. Mom and I reminisced about the fun times at Fa La camps many years ago, the lake and sailing. I look at your old camp and have such fond memories of our summers together. I remember Mrs. Faunce and her hearty laugh you could detect a mile away. Unfortunately, I am back in PA and will be unable to attend the service this weekend. Sending you our deepest condolences, on behalf of my family.
I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Faunce. Growing up with Betsy and spending a lot of time at your house, the Essex pool, EJHS sporting events and UVM gave us many hours with both Mr. and Mrs. Faunce...yes, stories...great stories.
And whether talking about sports or politics, Mrs. Faunce was a beautiful, strong woman who was willing to share her thoughts and opinions with me - all while knitting the most complicated sweater pattern that I had ever seen. I loved this about her.
I especially admired her devotion to all of you and how she glowed with pride when speaking about your accomplishments. Wife, mother and grandmother was certainly "the" shinning joy in her life.
I will miss her deeply.
