Barbara, Lyle, Matt, Will - and Hudson/Harhan families - What a man this was. Gruff and kind, intense and humorous, dedicated, loving and civic-minded. You have experienced so much loss these last few years, Barbara, my heart goes out to you. I always enjoyed my visits with Sam and so respected and admired his transparency and bluntness. Thank you for bringing him over these past few years when you visited, Barbara - it was a gift. I wish we could have spent some time together when you were here to manage his care at the end. I know he must have been extremely grateful to you for all you did. Perhaps when you return we'll have a chance to connect in person. In love, peace & gratitude, april
