How?

Dad, I will cherish so many of the times spent with you. You were always ready with that smile and a story or two or three. I loved listening....I loved seeing the resemblance of you in Mike and in Noah. I loved watching football with you... you would always root for my team because you knew Mike wouldnt! That made me feel extra special. How will we accept a new barber to cut your son and grandsons hair? How often will we say Grace now, if youre not here to lead it? And, how often will we be sad for ourselves that you are no longer with us, yet be so overjoyed for you that you are exactly where you were wanting and waiting to be? I feel a little selfish writing about my sadness when I know how much you loved the Lord and wanted us to experience that same kind of love and redemption while you were alive to see it. And now...youre there! Enjoy that glory and beauty, Dad! I look forward to seeing you and watching the Patriots together again...if I can ever be as good and loving and forgiving a person as you were and lucky enough to call Heaven my Home, too. Godspeed! Lori
