Fred was unique

I met Fred for the first time in 1976 or 1977 when I went to work in the Quality area of IBM .. Fred was a very colorful and helpful guy, always willing to help or at least share an opinion. I can remember many times that Fred and Neal Shepard would argue up and down the hallway near the area where we were working ... loud as could be, arms waving and neither giving in. In hindsight ..it was funny to see and it left an impression on me as a young new employee..... I also remember one day Freddie pulled in the parking lot and his car was overheating .. he pulled in and immediately lifted the hood and popped the radiator cap. Luckily he wasn't burned but he was covered in rusty water..... I immediately took him home for a change in clothes..... a million memories with Freddie in those days .. I could go on for a while ..

Freddie ... God bless and safe travels to heaven ... it will never be the same !!!!!
